Architectural Chess Set
This was a senior level undergraduate design studio class, at Pennsylvania College of Technology, taught by Dorothy Gerring in fall 2018.

This project was to create an architectural chess set. I chose to create my chess set out of the lighthouses that I wish to travel and see. These pieces were recreations of the originals. I modeled them on Sketch up and 3D printed them. Using Photoshop I created the chess board and the poster shown below.

This is the King piece. It represents the Cape Byron Lighthouse in Byron Bay Australia.
This is the Knight piece. It represents the Farol Albardao Santa Vitoria do palmar in Brazil .
This is the Queen piece. It represents the Split Rock Lighthouse in Minnesota.
This is the Castle piece. It represents the Lighthouse of Genoa in Italy.
This is the Bishop piece. It represents the Alcatraz Island Light in San Francisco California.
This is the Pawn piece. It represents the Brockton Point Lighthouse in Vancouver Canada.
